Do you think you know everything there is to know about Anna Vissi?

Anna's first personal album is released! Its title is the one of the winning song of the Thessaloniki Song Festival: "As kanoume apopse mian archi". Among the composers/lyricists: Doros Georgiades, Antonis Vardis, Giannis Spanos, Manos Eleftheriou.

"O Kirios Nobel/O! Maria" (7" Single)

Her second album "Kitrino Galazio" is released and its success is astounding (Double Gold – 100.000), considering the young age of the artist.

New album! The title is "Ne!" (Yes!) and its greatest hits include "Oso echo foni", "To xero tha rthis xana" (Greek version of "Woman in love" by Barbra Streisand) and "Methismeni politia", which was the theme song for a very successful TV series by ERT television. The song, which is now one of her classic ones, was included in the album at the very last minute due to its very big success.

The album "Anna Vissi" brings Anna's future husband, composer Nikos Karvelas, back in her life. Yiannis Parios participates as a lyricist, while Anna writes lyrics in the song "Kalimera kenourgia mou agapi", one of the most successful songs in her career.

"Mono i agapi" is released by local branches of CBS across Europe (Holland, Spain, United Kingdom, Portugal) with English lyrics and the title is "Love is a lonely weekend". "I'm gonna be a fool for you" is the flip-side.

The album "Na ches kardia" is released on 22/3/1984 by CBS, entirely composed by Nikos Karvelas.

The new – and modern – album "Kati simveni" (Gold). Music by Nikos Karvelas and Antonis Vardis. Nikos’s songs "San ke mena kamia", "Ti echo na chaso" and "Dodeka" become huge hits.

"I epomeni kinisi" (15/12/1986). The album goes Platinum and Nikos's hits are numerous. The biggest ones: "Me agapi apo mena gia sena", "Pragmata", "Skepasto", "Se posa tamplo".

"Tora" (12/2/1988 – Gold album) and "Ebnefsi" (9/12/1988 – Gold album) that continue her endless and absolute success. Anna and Nikos give their audience many great and long-lasting No1 hits...

The Christmas release of the album "Fotia" (Platinum), which has strong ethnic and folk elements for the first time in Anna’s career!

The album "Ime" (14/12/1990 – Gold), produces many hits once again.

An album which denies all rumors about artistic separation of the couple: "Emis" (Us). This album is unique, as it is a joint album. Four songs are sung by Anna, four by Nikos and there are also two duets! The duet "Emis" and the ballad "De thelo na kseris" are the greatest hits of the year in Greece and have both left their own mark on Anna’s career so far!

The album "Re!" (22/12/1994 - Gold), music by Nikos Karvelas and lyrics by him and Evi Droutsa.

Anna returns powerfully to the Greek discography. "Klima Tropiko" (Double platinum), an album by Nikos Karvelas is released triumphantly! Athens, airplay and the audience bow to the massive hits and to the alternative ethnic suggestion that is brought about by this modern album.

"Trauma" (Triple Platinum) is another big surprise, shortly after "Klima Tropiko"! It is the undeniable success of 15 songs and the monopoly in the airplay of all radio stations in Greece and Cyprus. Another innovative musical suggestion, entertaining this time, by Anna Vissi and Nikos Karvelas.
"Travma" is also released in Australia (06/1997) as a double CD by the local Sony with the sign "Limited Edition Tour Pack", including a secondary CD single with older hits.

Album "Antidoto", (Triple Platinum) with 80.000 of sales in just a few days. From this album a fans' favorite emerged, "Gkazi".

A completely big and new step for Greece’s bigger star ever!

"Apagorevmeno+" is the repackaging of Anna’s successful album, in a special eco-package by Sony music. The concept remains the same, but new pics from the photo-shoot are included, as well as a new cover! As far as the tracklist is concerned, we can find 3 new songs (the hit "Fabulous", "Tavli" and "Ego s’agapao"), as well as 2 remixes by Alex Papaconstantinou (for "Stin pira" and "Apo makria ki agapimeni").

Τhe video clip for the song Leap of Faith, Anna’s duet with the pop legend Dave Steward, premiered on MAD TV on the 8th October. It was all shot in a well-known hotel in the Thessaloniki the year before. Its release was combined with a weekend dedicated to Anna’s career which also included an interview with Themis Georgantas.

Access All Areas (Collection – Best of): In December Sony Music released the limited edition “Access All Areas – Anna Vissi” with only 500 copies available. Even if it was not advertised as this, the collection “celebrated” 40 years of Anna’s career and contained a small book with famous and never before seen pictures of Anna taken by Christine Crokos between 2009 and 2010 and 5 CDS with a total of 84 songs spanning her music career!
The collection becomes a success in 2013 with the release of another 750 new numbered copies.

2013 was a year of change in Anna's life, not only personal but also career wise. After 31 years of work and success with Sony BMG (former CBS and y Music) Anna was free from the record label and decided to join up and coming Panik Records!

Sony gave Anna a good “send-off” by re-releasing another 750 copies of the successful album “Access all areas” which were snapped up quickly once again.

The new record label welcomed Anna by creating a new “gold” label, Panik Gold, from which Anna released her first single entitled “I kathimerinotita mas” (Our daily life), music and lyrics by Nikos Karvelas.
